Monthly Meetup Challenge!

Can you believe it's that time again already?? It's the 11th and we're here with this month's Monthly Meetup Challenge!!

This is an anything goes challenge! It's a reason to get out your LID goodies, get crafty AND be eligible to win a super duper prize!!!
This month's prize is a $50 gift certificate/store credit AND I just might have a couple of STELLAR 2nd place prizes BUT you'll have to participate to find out what they are but I promise they will NOT disappoint!

Here's what you need to do to play along:

  • Make a new project or share something you've been working on featuring LID goodies!
  • Post this project to your blog or favorite gallery.
  • Link your project to our challenge by using the InLinkz tool beneath my signature below.
  • You have through March 18th at 11:30 PM EST to link your project to be eligible to win a prize. Projects should exclusively feature LID goodies to be eligible to win but do not need to exclusively feature LID goodies to join our Meetup.

Winners will be announced in a new blog post shortly after March 18th.

Have fun getting crafty and we can't wait to see what you're working on!

I have some projects to share with you today. It's been a long a dreary Winter here in Massachusetts with just about 8 feet of snow in just about 4 weeks so I was really feeling the need for Spring in my crafting.
I started with a white card base and I used my Long & Skinny Rectangles to add stripes of this fabulous paper from American Crafts to the whole front. Then I cut a white oval using Stitched Mats: Ovals and added my bunny and scene and at first I was going to add this directly to my card front and then I realized it would be a whole lot cooler to cut out an oval from the center, frame the opening and add my focal panel to the inside of the card peeking through - so that's what I did!!

I nested two Stitched Mats: Ovals together before cutting and that's what has created this neat frame!

Other dies used with this project were Bunnies & Bows Die Set, Border Builders Die Set and Small Sunshine Die.

Once I finished the card project I had this fabulous striped oval that really looked like a decorated egg and I couldn't just toss it away so I made it a tag on this wrapped gift! This is just an oval from our Stitched Mats: Ovals but I think the stripe across the bottom makes it look like an egg shape so I went with it! I punched a hole and tied it to my gift but not before I added "Mom" to my tag using our Mixed & Stitched Alphabet Die Set. The paper pad and pencils were found at the brand new Target that just opened 5 mins from my house - YAHOOOOOO!!!!! Both were found in the dollar bins!!

Here's a better close up for you. I love that I was able to create two projects essentially by just making one!

Ok, now it's your turn!!!  You can visit the Design Team and see their inspiration for this challenge by clicking on their cards as they appear in the linky below.

Have fun. Get crafty and LINK UP to be in on the PRIZE!!!!

Thanks for visiting today!
