March New Release Hop Day 3

Hi there! Fancy meeting you here! Welcome back for day three of our New Release Hop! I'm excited to recap the products that are new to our store this week and to show you a few more projects I made with our new goodies.

Before I do, I wanted to take a minute to thank you all for your positive feedback and comments! They mean so much to all of us here! Thank you so much!!!

Here is everything that we've just released in our store this week!

Make custom works of art with our new Mini Canvas Die, Mini Easels for display and our beautiful Paint Your Canvas Stamps.

Here are the projects I previously showed you using these new goodies. Can I just say......these goodies are SO FUN to work with. I am LOVING making little works of art - other than cards of course.

Here are our new Triangle Treat Holder Die with Bunny Treats Dies & Accessories. Stay tuned because we'll be releasing more accessories to dress up this treat holder!

Here are the projects I had fun making using these FANTASTIC but oh so easy to assemble treat holder dies.

And just in case you missed it, here is a video tutorial I made for you showing you how to make a bunny treat holder.

Also this week we released our new Hey, Foxy suite of goodies; dies, word dies and stamps! I love love love the sweet little foxes you can make with this easy to use die set! What I like even more about these products is how you can just about customize your fox. With just the tilt of his head or the placement of his stamped eyes and nose you can make so many different looking foxes. Even our tail can be oriented in two different ways. Either way, you are going to LOVE playing with these dies. And once again stay tuned. We made the fox's body one that can be used for all kinds of animals and we have plans to build on this set SOON! YAY!!

Here are a couple of projects that I quite literally had a blast making!!!!

I really like the way this turned out. Let me tell you a little about it. I made a card front and die cut an opening for our fox focal image using our Stitched Mats: Circles and adhered this over white paper which I stamped the word foxy on repeatedly. I added the remained of my sentiment seen here using the hey word die and a sentiment from the stamp set which I really love. Everything was added on a die cut from our Pinking Edge Sentiment Flags Die Set. My fox was assembled using coral paper and white paper. So I die cut the base head and tail tip in white and the rest in coral and assembled everything. Then I easily stamped on eyes and nose to finish. CUTE right!!!!?? I love this!!!!!

I was playing some more with our Hey Foxy goodies. I made my fox the exact same way but used blush paper this time and changed the way I swished the tail and added in a few rhinestones. Then I made this scenic panel which I really like. The base or frame was made using Anytime Tags and then I used the following dies to create the scene: Border Builders Die Set for the hills, Sunshine Die Large and Cloudy Sky Die. Hard to see but I stamped the word hello from the Hey, Foxy Stamp Set onto my stone card base.

These are our brand new Wonky Squares Dies and they are a-flying out of here! They make a perfect sentiment panel or backdrop for a focal image and if you turn them on their side they can be used as diamonds. I just love them and I think you will too and for a limited time when you place a qualifying order of $75 or more through today March 4th (EST) you will receive 25% off this die set when you use the code LIDDEAL.

Here is a project I made using these new dies:

Also used here are our Seriously Awesome Stamps and Hello, Awesome Stamps. I love how these two can work together and I LOVE the font - it stamps so nicely!

You need to try to our new Really Rosemaling Stamp Set to see how beautifully it stamps. The possibilities are limitless here. You can make large ornate patterns or small ones and the sentiments are the art just flow so well together. This is gorgeous and I think you'll love it!
I mentioned previously that Rosemaling is a form of folk art which originated in Norway and was infused into the Disney movie Frozen -which I've only seen once, but loved. :)
I think you'll be seeing a lot more of this pattern and art in home decor and fashion and I'm excited to bring it to you so you can bring this art into your paper crafting!

Here are the projects I made using Really Rosemaling Stamps.

Here I kept my stamping simple stamping 4 separate pieces plus the sentiment onto the large sentiment flag in our Flags & Tags Die Set. The border on the yellow card base was made with our recently released Stitched Mats: Side-Stitched Rectangles which I love love love!

Here I did a little more stamping than on the first and I have to say it was pretty therapeutic to just stamp for a little while. I accented my focal image by using my Stitched Scallop Border Die beneath the focal panel.

Last but definitely NOT least is our brand new Cover Up Die: Pointelle. This die simply ROCKS The dotted pattern you see in the design cuts out or away from your card base and it it just gorgeous!!!!! I want to use it for everything! There are a lot of cuts and the pattern has a presence but for some reason it does NOT overpower whatever else you put it with. It just seems to go with everything!

Here is a project I made using our new Cover Up Die: Pointelle

This might be my favorite card that I made for this release. I don't know if it's the colors or what but I love it! :) Don't you love it when you love something you make? Ha!!! Here I also used our Spring Flowers Die Set and the sentiment is from our new Really Rosemaling Stamp Set.

What do you think?? What are some of the goodies on your wish list??

Ok, I'm sending you on your way with the daily reminder to leave some love for our designers along your way if you'd like to be entered to win one of 3 $15 gift certificates to Lil' Inker that we'll be giving away. March Release Blog Hop Day 2

Hi everyone!! I hope that you're enjoying our new release and hop so far! Yesterday, I focused on our new Mini Canvas Die, Mini Easel and Paint Your Canvas Stamps. Today, I'm going to showcase our Triangle Treat Holder Die and the bundles accessories that come with it.

Before I do let's have another look at everything new at Lil' Inker Designs this month!

Honest to goodness, our new Cover Up Die: Pointelle is absolutely gorgeous!!!!! The dotted pattern you see in the graphic above actually cuts away or out from your card front and it is just so pretty it makes me squeal! HA!!!!

I love our sweet new Hey, Foxy goodies! I love that you can create this adorable little fox very simply with just a few die cuts and our new matching stamps. AND we're planning to add MORE animals to this collection using the body of the fox to build on. You can create a fox with so many different expressions just by tilting the head or the placement of the fox's face when you stamp. This is a sweet and fun couple of goodies to add to your collection!! I love playing with them!!!

The idea for our new Mini Canvas Die came about really from two different sources of inspiration. I started seeing a lot of pre-made canvases in the big box craft stores but they were either too big or too small and at the same time I had been formulating an idea for a way to give paper crafters something else to do with all of the supplies they already have. I LOVE LOVE to create home decor and display it in my home and especially in my craft room. All of these things came together I guess and a lightbulb went off! Our new Mini Canvas Die is a great way to stretch those supplies and create your own mini works of art.
What I really like about this die is that you can craft on it JUST like you would a card front and give it to someone in place of a card. I'm sure the person who receives it would proudly display it their home as well and for a long time to come!

Display your canvases on our new Mini Easels. They are made of natural (unfinished) hardwood and fold flat for easy storage or gift giving. They can be painted or stained if you so wish but match any decor as is. Our Mini Canvases look SO GREAT displayed on this stand.

I thought it would be great to give you a stamp set with some inspirational sentiments to use with our Mini Canvas Die. These are done in a beautiful, "painted" font and look amazing on our Mini Canvas Dies or used on card fronts. Paint Your Canvas is a FUN ONE you will love working with!

Ok, our Really Rosemaling Stamps ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!! You will LOVE building your own beautiful floral images with this set. The art is based on a folk art design that began in Norway. I came across  some info on the move Frozen and how Rosemaling art was infused in the design and I was really inspired. When I started to do some more research I saw how popular this type of art is becoming. I'm excited to be able to give you a set so you can translate the beauty of Rosemaling into your paper crafts!!! LOVE THIS!! Can't stop stamping!!! And it felt really good to just stamp - get out some inks and have at it!!

Love these guys!!! You will too! Wonky Squares are the perfect funky squares or even diamonds if you turn them on their side and of course feature our stitching detail which makes them POP!!! Love love love!!! For a limited time through March 4th, 2015 (EST) qualifying orders of $75 or more will receive 25% off this die set when you use the code LIDDEAL at checkout. See the graphic below for the full details :)

Our Triangle Treat Holder Die is such a great way to make a nifty little giftie! Each treat holder uses a full sheet of paper. You'll need to cut to panels and then assemble them together. Assembly is super easy and then your treat holder can be decorated in so many ways. When you purchase this bundle you'll also receive the Bunny Treats Dies and Stamps so you can easily turn your treat holder into an adorbs bunny!! LOOK at those footsies! How cute are they with the little stitching and heart paws! LOVEEEEE this!!

How about we take a look at some projects using this new bundle?

Here I used white paper to assemble my bunny treat. I stamped his face in great and accented the nose, ears and feet with Copics. I love how all of the sentiments in the Bunny Treats Stamps fit right onto one of the ears. The holes we've added at the top of the die cut allows you to tie the treat closed with twine or your favorite ribbon. I love how this comes together.

To show you how easy this is to assemble I've put together a video for you to watch!

Here is another card I made using the Bunny Treats Dies and Stamps but this time I used our Anytime Tags Die Set to create this sweet little bunny!!!!!! I LOVE how this turned out!!! In the background I stamped a sentiment repeatedly from our Spring Sentiments Stamp Set and I created the bunny's bowtie by using our Bow Die Mini just snipped each end after I assembled it to make even more mini. I also used our Stitched Mats: Side-Stitched Rectangles to create the border on my pink layer.

Ok, so I'm going to send you on your way so you can see all of the fantastic projects the team has for you today! Here is the hop order for today:

Don't forget to leave some love for our teammates. If you do, you'll be entered into the running to win one of three $15 store credits we're giving away; one for each day of the hop!

Thank you so much for spending a part of your day with us today!!! We'll see you tomorrow for our final hop day!

March Release Blog Hop Day 1

Hi there!!! Welcome to day 1 of our new release blog hop. It's so nice to be back and with a whole new crop of goodies for you to check out!

If you've been following on social media, we've sneaked a couple of projects and from the sound of it you're looking forward to a few things in particular so let's get right to it and talk about what we have in store for you this month.

Our new Hey, Foxy goodies are sure to knock your socks off! The Hey, Foxy Dies is a set of 5 wired dies which cut all the necessary pieces to make one sweet little fox. I think you'll find as you play with it that a tilt of the head or the arrangement of the tail can totally change the appearance of this little guy.

Use our Hey, Foxy Dies together with our coordinating Hey, Foxy Stamps stamps (seen above) to add even more detail to your fox with stamps for face, sentiments and more!

And use our Hey, Foxy Word Dies because these words just look SO AWESOME in paper form  added to your project! The create a versatile way to add sentiments to your foxy projects!

We love our new Wonky Squares Dies and the interesting shape they make. Turn them on their side and use them as diamonds. They definitely make a great sentiment panel or backdrop for a focal image and of course, the stitching makes them POP!!

This is one super pretty stamp set and one that I know you will love to just get stampy with! This is our Really Rosemaling Stamp SetRosemaling is a form of decorative folk-art that originated in Norway and typically features floral images. We were so super inspired by the Rosemaling images that were immersed in the design of the Disney movie, Frozen and we continue to see these elements as trending in home decor and more. We're delighted to bring you a stamp set to translate this art form into your paper crafting!

Ok, this is the coolest Cover Up Die EVER! :) Our new Cover Up Die: Pointelle cuts this intricate dotted pattern into your card front. The pattern is so pretty! WAIT until you see this die in action! I bet it will creep up to the top of your wish list!

Our new Triangle Treat Holder Die with Bunny Treats Dies & Stamps is seriously a must have if you love to make paper crafted treats! By cutting two panels and assembling together you have the sweetest little gift. Use our Bunny Treat Dies and Stamps to make this and even more special little bunny! ACK, I love this!!!!

Make mini, paper crafted pieces of art! I love making cards but I also like to make home decor and I think having a canvas to decorate and display is just so right! I think it makes a special gift to give someone to display in their home or even in your own home. Maybe you have a spot on your desk at work or in your craft room? I think this is just such a perfect way to use all the paper crafting supplies you already have and do something "else" with them.

Our Mini Canvas Die cuts a foldable paper canvas. Cut and decorate it flat and when your masterpiece is complete just add some adhesive to the tabs and fold to assemble. Display your work of art perfectly on our new Mini Easel which is made of premium hardwood and fold flat for easy storage and go with any decor. They can even be painted or stained!  The dots you see in the graphic above score into your paper just adding an extra, eye-catching detail!

When I thought of art to display in my home I thought that some inspiring sentiments would be just right and after a little convincing from some of our designers I set off and created our Paint Your Canvas Stamp Set. It's whimsical, pretty and inspirational and looks like the words themselves have been painted.

Before I share some projects with you, for a limited time through our new release hop, when you make a purchase of $75 or more you can use the code LIDDEAL to receive 25% off our brand new Wonky Squares Dies! Yahooo!!!!

How about having a look at some of the projects I made? I think I'll start off by showing you the things I made with our new Mini Canvas Die, Mini Easel, Paint Your Canvas Stamps and more.

I made this All You Need... canvas very easily by die cutting a Mini Canvas from watercolor paper. I watercolored my canvas and dried it with my heat tool to speed up the process. Then, I heat embossed my sentiment from our All You Need Is Love Stamp Set and displayed my finished pieced on a Mini Easel. Isn't this so pretty?

I made this canvas purposely to show you how you can craft this canvas JUST like you would a card except now you have a piece of art you can display (instead of a card which one might toss out - THE HORROR! LOL!).

This picture really shows the pretty embossed dotted detail all the way around the border. Here I used our Cut It Out Clouds & Accessories Die Set along with our Dance In the Rain Stamps.

Here again I used watercolor paper but this time I used our new Paint Your Canvas Stamps. I'm really enjoying using this new Mini Canvas Die. I could very easily make something to display for every room in my home! I love this die!!!

This card also features our Paint Your Canvas Set but used to make a shaker card instead. I used our Stitched Mats: Rectangles to make the shaker frame. The sentiment is stamped onto vellum which is recessed behind an acetate layer which is holding the sequins in their shaker box.

Now, before I send you on your way to hop and see the exciting projects from our designers I'll ask you to leave some love for them along the way in the form of comments because we are going to select three winners from one blog for each day of our hop to receive a $15 store credit to LID!! Woo hoo!!!

Here is a list of everyone participating in the hop today and the order in which they can be visited.

Thank you so much for visiting with us today! We'll see you tomorrow for Day 2 and a focus on more of our new release goodies!
